Im ceoliac and came her didnt do anything gluten free much so I wanted 2 sides and that will be fine for a lunch snack. They couldnt do it. Didnt try to go out their way and the 2 staff were extremely rude. Ceiliacs isnt being fussy and difficult its a way of life. Will never come again.
Came in around 6pm on a Sunday night to be greeted by friendly staff, a clean environment, full salad bar and genuinely tasty food. A very nice surprise!
This harvester is like many others, the food is nice and I have to say I like the chunky chips. They have a fresh salad bar, a morning English breakfast deal for which will go good with the 20% off deal when you stop at travel lodge. Why aint this 4 stars like the other harvesters Ive been too? The menu compared to other harvesters is lacking, the sitting area is open so not very cosy. And the decor seems a bit dated. Would I come here again??? Hmmm maybe
Great service today (Lisa I think was the lady's name), and good value meal. Nice touch with the free salad bowl and coffee refills.
Paid 28 to park up overnight, looking forward to a Steak n Pint tonight, Sign suggests you find a table prior to ordering, on walking around, most tables were "reserved" and others taken by a handful of diners! I found though a large circular table and sat down browsing through the menu, only to be approached by a member of staff (young female) minutes later, who asked if I mind her cheeky request in moving to favour a family of 6 who had not followed instrucrion in finding a table prior to ordering, Fair to ask, If all tables were actually taken ! But to reserve nearly all tables to assist in poorly managed staffing levels is simply not acceptable, it cost them my business tonight and any other night in future, and an email to head office in complaint, as truck drivers pay way over the odds to park in such places and often not by choice but due to tachograph time constraints, and contribute largely to the very existence of such places and staff, their menu clearly states that menus are prepared and cooked from fresh so whatever the time of day, you'll get to enjoy their quality standard, however what they missed out was...providing we can be bothered to offer enough seating for custom at anytime of the day ! If I could minus score this feedback, I would, as 1 star is overly generous !
