This reveiew is to tell people this hotel is worth spending the money on, the rooms aren't perfect but they are more than adequate for the price. The most important part is the service is great, the food is amazing and the staff are what make it! Really polite down to earth staff that will meet your needs and help you in any way they can, absolutely brilliant experience!
The rooms could do with a revamp. Disappointingly they stopped serving food at six on the Sunday I was there. I arrived at half 5 having just drove for 3.5 hours. Also the instructor on my course told me it was half price food and drink in January, which I was not told. My starter was luke warm but the main was very good. I didn't get the option of dessert, presumably because it was after six. The breakfast was nice enough but the service was slow, could do without the beans in the little pot, just put them on the plate. Apart from the coffee was very poor. I wasn't informed of the WiFi code or that it existed. On the whole are reasonably nice place the staff are friendly enough.
Had a warm welcome with a good night sleep. Finally a warm farewell as I left in the morning. A nice place to call again.
Room a little dated but clean, tidy, very quiet with comfy mattresses. Poor TV signal. On checkout they asked for room payment, luckily I had proof of online booking and payment.
Absolutely lovely christmas meal this evening. Excellent friendly service as well.
