Fantastic Sunday roast ad usual. Relaxed atmosphere and polite and friendly service. Would strongly recommend.
Went here for Sunday Lunch after receiving a recommendation and we're glad we did it was superb, generous portions, good quality food and excellent value for money. Our food and service was excellent although a few tables did seem to experience issues with vegetables not coming out for a while after receiving their meat and cutlery not being available. For me and the wife everything was fantastic and we will be returning in a few weeks.
We attended the restaurant as a family as part of a promotional evening and have never been treated as fourth rate paying customers until tonight. We attended with two children under 4 and for the duration of the meals the children were seated and talking. When the restaurant cleared we let the children walk off their meals. When we were asked for dessert we were asked to keep the children restrained and quiet by the stuck up, pompous pretentious restaurant manager. Are you kidding! They were supervised, they weren't causing other diners of staff inconvenience so we asked if any complaining clientele would be happy to come over and discuss their concerns. His response was to shrug his shoulders and say that is what people are saying. Clearly the Priest House Hotel don't promote and want the custom of families in their restaurants because they make too much noise and walk around.In reply to the Priest House comment. The restaurant manager I believe is called Marco, he has/had a beard and brown hair.
Gorgeous setting, great in the summer. Very reasonably priced food and very tasty too. Bar staff were attentive too. Thoroughly recommend
Beautiful restaurant in picturesque surroundings. Good food and generous portions tastefully arranged.Item on the menu was unavailable and casually dismissed which I found a little unprofessional. The waiting staff seemed a little disconnected and mechanical. My opinion was that they were poorly trained and could have been more sociable but this is not a bad reflection on them but on the senior staff who should make sure that they are customer focused.I would certainly return but would hope to see an improvement.
